Newent Christmas Fiver Deal

At VIVID Studios, one of our sustainability goals is to shop local and encourage others to do likewise. Therefore we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to participate in Newent’s first ever Christmas Fiver Deal promotion.

Town Mayor Councillor Christine Howley said: “Local small businesses have been particularly hard hit this year, so we hope this exciting initiative will encourage people to support their local High Street and pick up a bargain at the same time”.

If every adult in Newent spent just £5 a week in the town’s independent shops and businesses, it would be worth an extra £1.3 million per year for the local economy.

More than 20 businesses are taking part this year offering a variety of deals and as an added incentive the Forest of Dean District Council has also agreed to waive the parking charges in Lewall Street Car Park on the following dates in December: Saturday 5th, Saturday 12th, Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and from Monday 21st – Thursday 24th.

A Mini Photo Session for just £5!

Yes, you read that right – a mini photo session for just £5 and this includes a 6×4 inch print of your favourite image from the session, in a smart presentation folder!

And there’s more … when you book your Fiver Deal mini session you’ll receive a voucher entitling you to a £25 discount on a family portrait session!

These special sessions are only available in our Newent photo studio at The Old Chapel, Culver Street, Newent (above Smiths Auctions). Appointments are limited and available on a first come first served basis – the early bird catches the worm!

You’ll need to book before 24th December 2020 to take advantage of the £5 deal. However, you may book your session for any of the available dates between now and the end of January 2021.
